Getting a herd in quickly
Start with the animals you have now, then add their parents as you go. A parent you never owned can be typed in straight from the sire or dam box and is kept as an ancestor only. Unknown ancestors are fine: they print as Unknown and nothing is guessed. When the herd is in, open the pedigree maker.
